Connecting Games Club - Contact Game
Hi everyone! 🎮✨
We’re excited to invite you to our third live event of the Connecting Games Club! 🥳
This time, we’re going to play the Contact Game — a super fun and interactive word guessing game that’s all about quick thinking, teamwork, and making connections! 🧠💡
📅 Saturday, March 28
⏰ 3:00 PM New York time
📍 On Zoom
How does the Contact Game work?
One player thinks of a secret word and only shares the first letter with everyone.
The rest of the players ask questions and give hints to figure out the word — but without saying it directly!
If two players think of the same word, they say:
👉 “Contact!”
Then they count “3, 2, 1…” and say the word together. If they match, the host reveals the next letter of the word!
🎯 The goal:
Guess the full word before all the letters are revealed.
It’s a game full of fun, chaos, and those “OMG we thought of the same thing!” moments 😄
We had such a great time in our previous events, and we’d love to see even more of you join this one! Whether it’s your first time or you’ve joined before, everyone is welcome 🤍
I’ll send the Zoom link about 10 minutes before we start, so stay tuned in the group!
✨ Hope to see you all there! 🎉🎮

How does the Mafia Game work?
At the start of the game, each player secretly receives a role. Some players will be Mafia, while the others are Citizens trying to figure out who the Mafia members are. We may also have special roles like the Doctor, who can protect someone during the night, and the Detective, who can investigate a player.
The game moves between two phases:
🌙 Night phase – special roles make their moves secretly.
☀️ Day phase – everyone discusses, shares suspicions, and votes on who they believe is part of the Mafia.
The goal is simple:
Citizens must work together to discover and eliminate the Mafia, while the Mafia tries to stay hidden and outsmart everyone. It’s a game full of strategy, teamwork, and convincing others 😄
⭐ If we don’t have enough players for Mafia, don’t worry! We’ll still have fun by playing the Imposter Game instead.
In the Imposter Game, most players know the secret word, but one player (the imposter) doesn’t. Everyone gives small hints about the word without saying it directly. The imposter must try to guess the word while pretending they know it, and the others try to figure out who the imposter is. It’s always chaotic, funny, and full of surprises!
We had a lot of fun in our previous session, and we’d love to see more people join this time so the games become even more exciting. Everyone is welcome, whether you’ve played before or it’s your first time!
I will send the Zoom link about 10 minutes before we start, so stay tuned in the group.
Hope to see many of you there! 🎉🎮
